I’ve been a fan of the Call of Juarez series since the first game was released in 2006. I loved the wild west setting, the action-packed gameplay, and the memorable characters. When Call of Juarez: Gunslinger was released in 2013, I was immediately drawn to its unique take on the western genre. The game is told from the perspective of an aging bounty hunter named Silas Greaves, who recounts his many adventures in a saloon. This framing device allows for some creative storytelling, as Greaves’s stories are often embellished or exaggerated. The result is a game that is both funny and heartwarming, while still providing plenty of action.
I’ve played Call of Juarez: Gunslinger on multiple platforms, and I’ve always enjoyed it. However, I think the game would be perfect for the Switch.
